Bids for Highway Equipment are now being Accepted

The Town of Ulster Town Clerk's Office is now accepting sealed bids for various Highway Equipment until Friday, July 17th at 2:00pm.  See "Documents" below to view Specs for the equipment to be purchased.

PURSUANT to Section 103D of the General Municipal Law, the Town Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Ulster will receive at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Office Building, at 1 Town Hall Drive, Lake Katrine, Ulster County, New York, until 2:00pm on Friday, July 17th 2009, sealed bids for the furnishing of the Town of Ulster Highway Department the Following Equipment:


(4) 2009 Heavy Duty Single Axle Dump/Plow Trucks

(4) Viking-Cives combination Dump Bodies with Plow and Wing Packages.

(1) 2009 Extendable Back Hoe with accessories

(1) 2009 Front End Loader with accessories

(1) 1- Ton Articulated Vibratory Roller

(1) Vacuum Street Sweeper


Specifications and information may be obtained upon application to the above address and from the Town of Ulster Website Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelopes plainly marked on the outside of the envelope with the Bidders name, address and the Bid Name and Number. Bids will be accepted until the aforementioned date and time. The Superintendent of Highways reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Vendor's attention is called to provisions of section 103D of the General Municipal Law. Non-collusive Bidding Certificates must accompany all bids.


The Town of Ulster Highway Department has passed by Resolution on October 15, 2007 the Standardization of all Dump Bodies and Snow Plow Equipment to be that of Viking-Cives.
