On July 2nd the drainage pipe at the intersection of Main Street Ruby and South Road in the hamlet of Ruby was replaced. Over the course of many years the old pipe had started to deteriorate and collapse. Approximately 40' of pipe was removed, replaced by 40' of new pipe and the installation of two new concrete catch basins. To complete the job the area was back-filled with stone dust and the entire area was cleaned up. This project was completed in one day. Our thanks to all the residents who were patient with us while we had the road closed and traffic detoured.
